Chile's import of milk powder is expected to climb to 17.2 million kilograms by 2026, up from 14.7 million kilograms in 2021. This marks an average 2.6% year-on-year growth since 1996. In 2021, Kuwait topped the ranking with 14.7 million kilograms, followed by the Philippines, Indonesia and Algeria. Chile's export of milk powder, however, is projected to drop to 283,180 kilograms by 2026, down from 539,770 kilograms in 2021. This translates to an average 9.6% year-on-year decline since 1996. In 2021, Luxembourg surpassed Chile as the leading exporter of milk powder, at 539,770 kilograms. Germany, New Zealand and France took the second, third and fourth spots in the ranking, respectively.
