Paraguay is set to import almost 480,000 kilograms of milk powder by 2026, according to a recent study. This is an increase of around 0.8% from the 456,080 kilograms imported in 2021. Since 1994, Paraguay has seen an average year-on-year growth of 7.4% in demand for the product. In 2021, the country ranked 102nd in terms of total imports, with Cyprus overtaking it with 456,080 kilograms. The Philippines, Indonesia and Algeria were the next three on the list. In 2018, Paraguay was ranked 71st, with Macedonia leading the way at 150,170 kilograms. Germany, New Zealand and France followed in that order.
