The country was ranked number 46 in 2015, Japan coming ahead with 192 Kilograms. USA, Germany and the U.K. respectively ranked numbers 2, 3 and 4 in this ranking. Panamanian milk powder exports are expected to reach 107,000 kilograms by 2026, a 3.2% increase on the 88,600 kilograms exported in 2021. This comes despite a 1.4% decline year-on-year since 2011. South Korea was the top exporter in 2021, with Germany, New Zealand and France coming in second, third and fourth respectively. Imports of milk powder to Panama rose to 281,000 kilograms in 2016, from 192 in 2015. This was a year-on-year increase of 45.8%. Japan was the major supplier in 2015, followed by the USA, Germany and the U.K.
