Vietnam's milk powder imports are set to reach 101 million kilograms by 2026, up from 91 million kilograms in 2021. This is an average growth of 1.7% year on year. Since 2005, Vietnamese demand has increased by 2.5% each year. The Philippines, Indonesia and Algeria were the second, third and fourth largest importers of milk powder, respectively. Vietnamese milk powder exports skyrocketed in 2017, with total exports reaching 1.3 million kilograms, compared to 288,130 kilograms in 2016. This was an increase of 365.7% compared to the previous year. However, since 2005, Vietnamese supply has decreased by 10.8% year on year.
