Demand for Dutch milk powder is expected to reach 170 million kilograms by 2026, up from 163 million kilograms in 2021, growing at a rate of 0.7% year-on-year, according to a recent study. This is a marked increase from 1997 when the growth rate was 2.6%. Algeria was the top consumer in 2021, followed by the Philippines, Indonesia and Algeria in second, third and fourth, respectively. Dutch milk powder exports are predicted to reach 98 million kilograms by 2026, showing a very slight increase of 0.1% year-on-year from 2021's 97 million kilograms. This is a decrease from 1997 when the growth rate was -0.6%. Poland was the top exporter in 2021, followed by Germany, New Zealand and France in second, third and fourth, respectively.
