Demand for Russian milk powder is set to increase by 2.3% year on year until 2026, reaching over 132 million kilograms by 2026. This is despite decreased demand from Russia since 2001, when it was down by 3.3% year on year. Russia ranked 7th in 2021, with Malaysia leading the way at 115.1 million kilograms. The Philippines, Indonesia and Algeria were the next three largest markets in 2021. In 2018, Russian milk powder exports were close to 1.04 million kilograms, a decrease of 38.3% compared to 2017. Since 2001, exports have fallen by 17.7% year on year. Russia ranked 42nd in 2018, with Azerbaijan leading the way at 1.04 million kilograms. Germany, New Zealand and France were the next three largest markets.
