Estonian imports of milk powder are set to reach 2.1 million kilograms by 2026. This is an average annual growth of 1% since 2021, when the country imported 1.99 million kilograms. Since 2000, demand for the product has grown 32.6% year on year. In 2021, Estonia was the 80th biggest importer of milk powder, with Tunisia overtaking it at 1.99 million kilograms. The Philippines, Indonesia and Algeria came in second, third, and fourth respectively in this ranking. Exports of milk powder from Estonia dropped 21.3%, from 1.65 million kilograms in 2020 to 1.3 million kilograms in 2021. Since 2000, supply of the product has increased 27.7% year on year. Estonia was the 39th biggest exporter of milk powder in 2021, with Nigeria overtaking it at 1.3 million kilograms. Germany, New Zealand and France ranked second, third and fourth respectively in this ranking.
