Finnish consumption of milk powder is set to drop by 14.8% year on year on average over the next five years, falling from 157,330 Kilograms in 2021 to 64,030 Kilograms in 2026. This follows a decreasing trend since 1994 when Finnish demand for the product was 10.7% lower than it is today. Rwanda came top of the rankings in 2021 with 157,330 Kilograms, followed by the Philippines (2), Indonesia (3) and Algeria (4). Meanwhile, Finnish exports of milk powder are expected to grow 2.9% year on year on average, with supply rising from 51,665,000 Kilograms in 2021 to 61,959,000 Kilograms in 2026. This follows an increasing trend since 1993, when Finnish supply was 3.2% lower than it is today. Sweden led the rankings in 2021 with 51,665,000 Kilograms, followed by Germany (2), New Zealand (3) and France (4).
