Brunei’s imports of milk powder dropped 25.1% in 2021 compared to the previous year, with 122,890 kilograms imported compared to 164,160 kilograms in 2020. This marks the lowest amount imported since 1997, a decrease of more than 22% over the past 24 years. The country’s exports of milk powder, however, increased 73.7% in 2018 compared to 2017, with 132 kilograms exported compared to 76 kilograms in 2017. Despite this, the supply of milk powder in Brunei has decreased by more than 53% since 2003.
