In 2021, the country ranked 17th, with 47 million kilograms, while Japan held the top spot with the same amount. The Philippines, Indonesia and Algeria followed in the rankings at 2nd, 3rd and 4th place, respectively. Exports of milk powder from Saudi Arabia are estimated to decrease 6.2% annually, on average, to reach almost 6 million kilograms by 2026. In 2021, the country ranked 32nd, with 8.6 million kilograms, while South Africa came in first with the same amount. Germany, New Zealand and France were 2nd, 3rd and 4th in the rankings. Since 1996, Saudi Arabia's milk powder supplies have dropped by 7.6% every year.
