Singapore's import of milk powder is set to reach around 70 million kilograms by 2026. This is a 0.9% increase year-on-year since 2021, when the country bought 65.9 million kilograms. Since 1994, the demand has grown 4.3% annually. In 2021, Singapore was ranked 12th biggest buyer of milk powder, with Thailand in the lead at 65.9 million kilograms. The Philippines, Indonesia and Algeria came in second, third and fourth, respectively. In contrast, Singapore's export of milk powder was close to 697,000 kilograms in 2021, a marked decrease from 2020's 1.5 million kilograms. This is a 53.7% drop compared to 2020 and a 33.2% fall since 1994. In 2021, Estonia overtook Singapore, ranking 48th with 697,000 kilograms. Germany, New Zealand and France were second, third and fourth, respectively.
