Canadian cheese production is set to increase by 1.9% year on year, according to a new report. By 2026, Canada is expected to produce 721,500 metric tons of cheese, up from 649,000 metric tons in 2021. This is a 3.2% year-on-year increase since 1966. Currently, Canada ranks eighth in cheese production, behind Egypt, which produces 649,000 metric tons. Germany, France and Italy make up the top three, respectively.
