Peruvian microwave oven import is expected to reach 341,160 units by 2026, up 0.9% year-on-year from the 2021 figure of 324,030. Since 2005, demand has increased by an average of 2.4% year-on-year. Meanwhile, Peruvian export of microwave ovens is predicted to drop by 11.4% year-on-year to 13.2 units in 2026. This decline is in contrast to the 2006 figure, when supply was 10.8% higher than it is now. In 2021, Peru was ranked 75th in the world for microwave oven exports, behind Aruba (26 units). Malaysia, Thailand and Belarus were ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th, respectively.
