Imports of Japanese microwave ovens fell by 1.8% in 2019, to just over 5.5 million units. Exports plummeted by 41.6% to 9,640 units, down 27.1% since 1993. Croatia overtook Japan as the top exporter, with Malaysia, Thailand and Belarus taking the next three spots.
