Kyrgyzstan is set to see steady growth in microwave oven imports over the next few years, reaching 42,430 units by 2026. Since 2000, demand for the appliances has grown by an average of 9% each year. However, exports of microwave ovens from Kyrgyzstan are expected to decrease by 3.7% year on year on average, reaching 44.2 units by 2026. Since 2014, supply has decreased by nearly 40% each year. In 2021, Nicaragua overtook Kyrgyzstan as the number one exporter of the appliances, with 55 units, while Malaysia, Thailand and Belarus followed in second, third and fourth place, respectively.
