The number of Salvadoran microwave oven imports rose by 30.6% in 2019. Imports totalled almost 49,000 units, compared to 37,330 units the year before. Exports of Salvadoran microwave ovens declined by 21.1% in 2019. Exports totalled just 2.5 units, compared to 3.16 units in 2018. Since 2005, Salvadoran exports have decreased by 19.5%. The country was ranked 88th in 2019, while Moldova led the way with 2.5 units. Malaysia, Thailand and Belarus followed in second, third, and fourth place respectively.
