Singaporean demand for microwave ovens is set to decline by an average of 0.9% each year until 2026. Last year, imports totalled 138,830 units, a decrease of 1.8% year-on-year since 1994. Meanwhile, exports of microwave ovens from Singapore dropped significantly in 2021 to 6,290 units, down by 64.4% from 2020. Since 1994, the supply of microwave ovens has declined by 34.3% year-on-year. Singapore ranked 34th in 2021, with Ireland ahead at 6,290 units. Malaysia, Thailand, and Belarus followed at 2nd, 3rd, and 4th respectively.
