Azerbaijan is set to consume 647.5 metric tons of pesticides by 2026, an increase of around 1.9% year-on-year, according to data from 1997. Norway topped the list in 2021 with 579 metric tons, followed by the United States, Brazil and Argentina. In 2018, Azerbaijan imported just 0.01 metric tons of pesticides, down by 100% compared to 2017. Kazakhstan led the list with 0.01 metric tons, followed by Thailand, Germany and Taiwan.
