The import and export of Mexican condiments is expected to increase significantly over the next five years. In 2021, Mexico was the ninth largest importer of condiments, with imports reaching $350 million. This was an increase of 2.1% year-on-year since 1995. Japan took the top spot with imports of $310 million. The United Kingdom, Canada and France were in second, third and fourth place respectively. Meanwhile, Mexico was the eleventh largest exporter of condiments in 2021, with exports totaling $425 million. This was an increase of 2.9% year-on-year since 1995. Poland was the top exporter with exports of $424 million, followed by China, Germany and Italy. By 2026, it is estimated that imports of Mexican condiments will reach $349 million and exports will reach $504 million, a 2.1% and 2.9% annual growth respectively.
