Italy's condiment exports are set to reach $1.2 billion by 2026, according to new figures. This is a 2.3% year-on-year average growth rate, up from $999.5 million in 2021. Since 1999, Italian supply has grown 6% year-on-year. In 2021, Germany surpassed Italy to become the fourth-largest exporter of condiments with $999.5 million. China, Germany and Italy came in second, third and fourth respectively in this ranking. Meanwhile, imports of condiments into Italy are projected to reach $243.4 million by 2026, a 1.7% year-on-year average growth rate. This is up from $218.2 million in 2021. Since 1999, Italian demand has increased 4.2% year-on-year. In 2021, Poland was the fifteenth largest importer of condiments, with $218.2 million. The UK, Canada and France came in second, third and fourth respectively in this ranking.
