Since 1998, demand for Moroccan condiments has risen 12.9% annually. In 2021, Morocco ranked 65th in global import rankings, behind Oman with $27 million. The United Kingdom, Canada and France respectively ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th. Meanwhile, exports of Moroccan condiments are expected to decline to $207 million by 2026, down from $327 million in 2021 – an average 7.6% year-on-year fall. Since 1998, supply of Moroccan condiments has decreased by 9.6% each year. In 2021, Bahrain was the top exporter, with $327 million, while Morocco ranked 99th. China, Germany and Italy respectively placed 2nd, 3rd and 4th.
