Malaysia’s condiment exports are projected to reach $228 million by 2026, up from $199 million in 2021, according to a 2.3% year-on-year average growth rate. The country has seen a 3.9% annual increase since 1994. In 2021, Austria overtook Malaysia to take the 17th spot, with exports of $199 million. China, Germany and Italy came in second, third and fourth respectively. Meanwhile, imports of condiments are expected to reach $180 million by 2026, up from $152 million in 2021, at a year-on-year average growth rate of 2.9%. Since 1994, Malaysia’s demand has been rising at a rate of 6.3% annually. In 2021, Denmark took the 25th spot, with imports of $152 million. The United Kingdom, Canada and France came in second, third and fourth respectively.
