This trend reflects a consistent increase in the country's grain supply, which has been growing at an average rate of 1.2% per year since 1997. In the global context, Kyrgyzstan ranked 91st in grains production in 2023. Taiwan narrowly edged ahead with a matching output of around 1.9 million metric tons. Leading the global ranking were the United States, India, and Brazil, occupying the second, third, and fourth positions respectively in terms of grains production.
