Despite this steady growth, Lithuania was ranked 51st in global grain production in 2023. North Korea slightly outpaced Lithuania with its own production of around 5.3 million metric tons. Leading the global rankings in grain production are the United States, India, and Brazil, occupying the second, third, and fourth spots respectively.
