Czech grain production is projected to decline slightly over the next five years, reaching approximately 7.42 million metric tons by 2028. This marks a slight decrease from the 7.47 million metric tons expected in 2023, representing a year-on-year compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of -0.1%. Since 1998, however, Czech grain supply has seen an average annual increase of 1.4%. Despite this long-term growth, the country is expected to drop in the global rankings. In 2023, the Czech Republic secured the 41st position, but it was overtaken by Denmark, which also produced around 7.47 million metric tons. In the broader context, the leading producers of grains remain the United States, India, and Brazil, occupying the second, third, and fourth positions respectively in the global rankings.
