Jordanian grains production is projected to reach approximately 126,000 metric tons by 2028, up from around 115,000 metric tons in 2023. This represents an average annual growth rate of 1.4%. Since 1966, Jordan’s grain supply has consistently increased, averaging a 6.4% year-on-year rise. Despite this steady growth, the country ranked 135th in global grains production in 2023. Notably, the Central African Republic surpassed Jordan in the same year with a production volume of 115,400 metric tons. In the global context, the United States, India, and Brazil held the second, third, and fourth positions respectively in grains production rankings for 2023.
