Despite this downward trend, Cypriot grain supply has shown significant growth since 1966, with an average annual increase of 12.9%. In the global ranking for 2023, Cyprus held the 147th position, trailing just behind the Comoros, which also reported 46,000 metric tons of production. Leading the global grain production rankings were the United States, India, and Brazil, occupying the second, third, and fourth positions, respectively.
