Since 1998, the demand for capacitors has grown 11.5% year on year. In 2018, Mauritius ranked 76th in the world for capacitor imports, with Kenya coming in slightly ahead at 37 kilograms. The United States, Italy and Germany were the top three in the ranking, with the US taking the lead.
