Salvadoran capacitor import is set to rise significantly by 2026, according to recent data. In 2021, imports reached around 75,500 kilograms - up by 52.5% from 1999. An estimated 5.1% year-on-year growth rate is forecast for the years to follow. Export of capacitors from El Salvador has dropped significantly since 2018. In 2019, around 75 kilograms were exported - a decrease of 59.1% from the previous year. Compared to 2003, supply was down by 41.4%. El Salvador ranked 67th in 2019, behind Peru, the United States, Italy and Germany.
