The United States, Japan and France respectively were numbers 2, 3 and 4 in this ranking. Mexico's capacitor exports rose 12.3% in 2018, reaching 172,940 kilograms compared to 153,960 the previous year. This marks an increase of 27.6% since 1995. Australia overtook Mexico to become the top exporter, while the US, Italy and Germany rounded out the top four. Imports of capacitors in Mexico saw a 24.5% year-on-year increase in 2015, hitting 479,050 kilograms compared to 322,460 the year before. China topped the list of importers, followed by the US, Japan and France.
