Latvian capacitor imports fell by 2.6% in 2018, compared to the year before. This is the lowest level since 1999, when imports stood at 51.3% less than in 2018. Latvian capacitor exports also decreased significantly in 2018, dropping by 33.4% compared to 2017. This is the lowest level recorded since 1999, with exports being 60.4% lower than in 2018. Kuwait overtook Latvia as the biggest exporter of capacitors in 2018, with 3,550 Kilograms. The United States, Italy and Germany followed in second, third and fourth place respectively.
