Sales of dairy products in Norway are expected to decline slightly, by 0.3% on average annually, over the next five years, reaching €2.5 billion by 2026. This follows a 0.8% decrease in the market since 2013. Norway ranked 13th in 2021, with sales of €2.5 billion. Sweden outperformed Norway and ranked first with €2.5 billion. Germany, Italy and the Netherlands were the next-highest performers, taking second, third and fourth place respectively. Production of dairy products in Norway is forecast to grow by 0.7% annually on average over the next five years, reaching €2.6 billion in 2026. This follows a 2.1% rise in production since 2013. Austria led the way in 2021, with production of €2.5 billion. Norway ranked 12th, while Germany, Italy and the Netherlands took second, third and fourth place respectively.
