Leading the pack were Germany, Italy, and the Netherlands, occupying the second, third, and fourth positions respectively. Sales within the Greek dairy market are also anticipated to see slight growth. By 2028, sales are forecasted to reach around €2.6 billion, up from €2.58 billion in 2023, reflecting a modest annual growth rate of 0.1%. Since 2013, the market has expanded at an average rate of 1.4% per year. In the 2023 rankings, Greece again stood at 13th place, with Sweden just ahead at €2.58 billion. Germany, Italy, and the Netherlands maintained their strong positions in the top four. However, dairy consumption in Greece is expected to decline.
