Brazilian demand for rapeseed is expected to decrease significantly by 2026. Consumption is forecast to drop to 300,000 metric tons, a 21.4% decrease from 2021's 1 million metric tons. The country ranked 30th in 2021, with Romania coming in at number one with 1 million metric tons. Canada, Germany and Spain ranked second, third and fourth respectively. Brazilian production of rapeseed is also forecast to decrease, albeit at a much slower rate. Production is expected to dip to 47,820 metric tons in 2026, a 0.3% dip from 2021's 48,530 metric tons. The country ranked 37th in 2021, with Paraguay leading the way with 48,530 metric tons. China, India and France followed at second, third and fourth respectively.
