In 2019, Taiwanese rapeseed production remained at 8 thousand metric tons, the same as in 2018. This is in keeping with a trend that has held since 1966 of stable supply from Taiwan. The country was ranked 62nd in rapeseed production in 2019, with Tajikistan ahead at 8 thousand metric tons. China, India and France were ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively. Consumption of Taiwanese rapeseed was close to 1 thousand metric tons in 2018, up slightly from 2017. Taiwan was in 30th place for consumption in 2018, with New Zealand ahead at 1 thousand metric tons. Canada, Germany and Spain were the 2nd, 3rd and 4th ranked countries.
