Portuguese consumption of rapeseed grew from 1,000 metric tons in 2017 to 1,000 metric tons in 2018, placing the country 30th in the ranking of global consumers. Paraguay surpassed Portugal, consuming 1,000 metric tons in 2018. Canada, Germany and Spain rounded out the top three, respectively consuming 2, 3 and 4 thousand metric tons.
