Croatian rapeseed production is set to reach 150,000 metric tons by 2026, according to a recent study. This is up from 130,370 metric tons in 2021, representing an average annual growth rate of 2.6 percent. Since 1997, the country's production has increased by an average of 2.9 percent per year. Croatia came in at 29th in 2021, while Spain led the way with 130,370 metric tons. China, India, and France ranked second, third, and fourth, respectively. Croatian rapeseed consumption in 2018 totaled 1,000 metric tons, up from 1,000 metric tons in 2017. The country ranked 30th in 2018, with Serbia coming in at first with 1,000 metric tons. Canada, Germany, and Spain placed second, third, and fourth in this ranking.
