Mongolian aluminium imports are set to hit $36 million by 2026, according to projections. This is a 0.9% increase from 2021's total of $34 million. Since 2001, Mongolian demand for aluminium has gone up 16.2% each year. In 2021, the nation came in 104th in the world for aluminium imports, with Jamaica ahead of them at $34 million. Germany, Japan and France came in second, third and fourth respectively. Mongolian aluminium exports are set to rise to $5.6 million by 2026, with an average annual increase of 2.7%. Since 2001, Mongolian supply has grown 17.5% annually. In 2021, Mongolia was in 100th place in the world for aluminium exports, with Namibia ahead at $4.8 million. Germany, the United States and Canada took the next three spots.
