The nation currently ranks 72nd in the world, behind Ecuador's $66 million. Germany, the US and Canada were ranked second, third and fourth, respectively. Meanwhile, Costa Rica's aluminium imports are forecast to reach $148 million by 2026, up 1.1% from 2021's estimated $139 million. Since 1999, Costa Rican demand has grown by 3.5% per year. The country is currently ranked 77th in the world, behind Myanmar's $139 million. Germany, Japan and France took the second, third and fourth spots in this ranking.
