This is an average increase of 2.4% each year since 1997, when the country's supply of aluminium was 65.7% higher. Belize was ranked 134th in 2021, with Gambia overtaking it with $23.3 million. Germany, the US and Canada were the second, third and fourth highest exporters respectively. Belizean aluminium imports are anticipated to reach nearly $9.8 million in 2026, up from around $8.3 million in 2021. This works out as an average annual increase of 2.7%. Since 1997, the country's demand for aluminium rose by 1.7% each year. Belize was ranked 126th in 2021, with Aruba overtaking it with $8.3 million. Germany, Japan and France were the second, third and fourth largest importers respectively.
