Malaysia's aluminium imports are set to hit $4.3 billion by 2026, according to a recent report. This is an increase of 2.6% year-on-year from the 2021 figure of $3.7 billion. Since 1994, demand for aluminium in Malaysia has jumped by 9.1% year-on-year. The country was ranked 17th in 2021, with Thailand ahead on $3.7 billion. Germany, Japan and France were ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively. Malaysia's aluminium exports are set to reach $5.2 billion by 2026, marking an increase of 3.4% year-on-year from the 2021 figure of $4.3 billion. Since 1994, aluminium supply in Malaysia has risen by 8.3% year-on-year. In 2021, the country was ranked 12th, with Spain above on $4.3 billion. Germany, the United States and Canada were ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively.
