Lebanon's aluminium exports are projected to reach $62 million by 2026, up 0.2% year-on-year, according to data from 2002. In 2021, Lebanon ranked 73rd, while Costa Rica was ahead with exports of $61.5 million. Germany, the US and Canada were the top three exporters in this ranking. Lebanese aluminium imports are expected to reach $211 million by 2026, an average annual increase of 1.3%. Since 2002, imports have grown 2.1% year-on-year. In 2021, Lebanon was placed 70th in the rankings, with Jordan ahead at $195.2 million. Germany, Japan and France were the top three importers.
