Meanwhile, Austria's crude oil production is set to decrease by 2.1% year-on-year by 2026. Since 1976, the country's annual supply of crude oil has decreased by 3.4%. In 2021, Austria was ranked 62nd in the world in terms of crude oil production, well behind the Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, the United States, and Iraq.
