Meanwhile, Japanese beef production is predicted to dip to 452,000 metric tons by 2026, falling 0.5% year-on-year from 2021. Since 1966, Japanese production has remained steady, ranking 28th in 2021. Kenya, Brazil, China and Argentina held the top four spots respectively.
