Bhutan's beef production is set to decline by an average of 2% each year through 2026. In 2021, the country was ranked 145th, with 4,020 metric tons of beef production. Iceland overtook Bhutan in production volume, coming in first with 3,570 metric tons. Brazil, China and Argentina followed, coming in at second, third and fourth, respectively. Since 1966, Bhutan's beef production has decreased by 1.9% each year.
