Croatian beef consumption is forecast to reach 55,000 metric tons by 2026. This is an increase of 0.7% year-on-year average from its 2021 level of 53,000 metric tons. Croatian demand for beef has been stable since 2017. Meanwhile, Croatian beef production is projected to reach 48,720 metric tons by 2026. This is a slight year-on-year increase of 0.9% from 2021's level of 46,150 metric tons. Since 1997, production has grown 0.6% yearly. In 2021, Croatia was ranked 97th in terms of beef production, behind Lebanon (46,150 metric tons). Brazil, China and Argentina were ranked second, third and fourth, respectively.
