Slovakians are set to consume 34,000 metric tons of beef by 2026, up 0.6% from 33,000 metric tons in 2021. Demand for beef has grown 1% each year since 2017. Production of beef in Slovakia is projected to drop to 3,580 metric tons by 2026, down 13.7% from 8,230 metric tons in 2021. Since 1998, the country's beef supply has decreased by 4.3% each year. Slovakia was the 134th largest producer of beef in 2021, falling behind Estonia, which produced 8,230 metric tons. Brazil, China and Argentina ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively.
