Beef production in the Falkland Islands is set to increase modestly over the next five years. Last year, the country produced 142 metric tons of beef, a figure that is projected to rise to 143.6 metric tons by 2026. Since 1966, the Falkland Island's beef production has grown by an average of 0.1% each year. In 2021, the country ranked 179th in beef production, just behind Barbados (142 metric tons). Brazil, China and Argentina were the top three producers of beef worldwide, with 2, 3 and 4 respectively.
