Barbadian demand for whisky is set to rise in the coming years. According to estimates, it will reach $4.9 million by 2026, an increase of 2.8% year on year. This growth rate has been consistent since 2002, when the annual growth rate was 4.7%. On the other hand, Barbadian whisky exports are expected to reach $2.3 million by 2026, a 2.7% year on year increase. Since 2002, supply has grown by a staggering 20.3%. In 2021, Barbados ranked 57th in the world, behind Mauritius ($2 million). The US, Singapore and Ireland ranked 2nd, 3rd and 4th respectively.
