Burkinabe whisky import is set to reach $1.2 million by 2026, according to a recent report. This figure is up 2.2% year-on-year from 2021's $1 million. Since 2000, demand for whisky in Burkina Faso has grown by almost 1% each year. Burkinabe whisky export is also on the rise and is expected to reach $1.1 million by 2026, up 3.1% compared to 2021. Since 2000, the country has seen an 8.8% annual increase in supply. In 2021, Burkina Faso was ranked 66th in terms of whisky export, with Argentina overtaking the country at $902,570. The United States, Singapore and Ireland followed closely, taking the second, third and fourth place respectively.
